The Lospec Gallery will no longer accept art that uses AI as part of it's process. Previously we allowed this in the reduction category (although we never allowed purely AI generated images). This change is in response to requests from the community to change this rule due to unethical methods used to train AI image generation models, all of which at this time use images taken from artists without permission or compensation.

I recently did a poll to gauge interest in a pixel art learning program, and have decided to do a test run with a beginner level course!

This course will be aimed at people with zero pixel art expirience, so most people on Lospec probably wouldn't benefit, but perhaps you know someone who does! In the future I hope to add an intermediate level course, and if all goes well, I have a few extremely talented guest teachers lined up for some advanced classes!

Different things will show here depending on the day, so it should help keep the homepage fresh, as well as keeping you up to date with all things Lospec.
