Lospec Fundraiser Results And Future Development

So the Lospec fundraiser (that annoying bar at the top of the page) is finally over.

Over two weeks, here's what we raised:

$532 in Ko-Fi Donation
$480 in Lospec Shop Donations
$552 in Shop Sales
+$22 in Ko-Fi Subscriptions
+$10 in Patreon Subscriptions

Totaling around $1500. This is great and I'm very thankful for all the people who supported Lospec in this time of need!

Unfortunately, this was only 10% of goal. This is not enough money for a single developer to survive on my country, and so my time working on Lospec full time has come to an end.

This doesn't mean the site is dead. The site still has enough monthly supporters where it can remain operation indefinitely at it's current size. But going forward I will have to focus a large amount of my time on money-making endeavors. Those could still be pixel art tool related or even Lospec related, but there won't be many more free tool releases, and most updates to the site will be focused on maintenance.

I had high hopes for many years that Lospec could eventually become a project that could support multiple people through community donations, instead of focusing on commercial products, which I hate. Perhaps I did something wrong, or maybe that's just not feasible in this day and age.
