reimagining of my previous palette antiquity16! 16 colors with a focus on consideration for a decent range of skintones. inspired by vintage ads from the 50s and 60s. changes: colors are generally less stark next to eachother now, and have an improved color ramp progression for skin tones. i consider this palette to be what i wanted to achieve years ago, but i didn't have the understanding of color theory then that i do have now. enjoy!

When you look back upon those old VHS boxes any of the ancients have, you'll notice how the UV light over the last 40+ years has damaged the printing on the boxes, converting the palette into this distinct cool-toned palette where the reds are the most vibrant. This palette aims to emulate this effect.

F O O D S (and a drink, lol). My submission for a challenge in Pixel Art Indonesia FB group. Some of these are Indonesian food (martabak & jalangkote), and some more (corn dog, dates, iced tea) is worldwide known. Very nice palette I must say, it was a fun experiment. Hope you enjoy!! - by Nora Ko
