Lospec Will No Longer Be Accepting AI Related Art Submissions

The Lospec Gallery will no longer accept art that uses AI as part of it's process. Previously we allowed this in the reduction category (although we never allowed purely AI generated images). This change is in response to requests from the community to change this rule due to unethical methods used to train AI image generation models, all of which at this time use images taken from artists without permission or compensation.

Thank you for the decision. AI "art" is not made by the person then make no sense the person be posting it in galleries like if made something.

Is there any concrete proof of this, or is this just hopping on the anti-ai bandwagon? Last I heard, major lawsuits accusing this same thing proved fruitless, based on a core misunderstanding of the way ai image diffusion works.
