.bad_dad @baddad Paint, pixels, prints Demake of games such as Black and Killzone on the PS2 as imagined on the Game Boy. I have been playing my back catalogue of PS2 games and was inspired by trying to interpret the HUDS or UI for the Game Boy. I like making games with GB Studio so it's research into finding possible solutions to user interfaces. The elements in the image comply with Game Boy restrictions however a dynamic version of a FPS would be difficult to acheive. The icons for the user interface would be possible.

this is great. the screen crunch would make for some really frantic close quarters combat. i can see a zombie shooter giving me a heart attack.

Thanks RABBITKING, it would be great to see a game made with a powerful game engine but with most of the GB limits. Then stepping outside the limitations slightly to make a small FPS, it probably wouldn't work on the console though.

Very cool! I'm so jealous how you can replicate the perspective you want to portray in your pixel art, it is very hard for me to do it. This is amazing!

I recomend drawing in a sketchbook or on paper, go to a cafe with lots of buildings around you. Get a beverage of choice and doodle with one eye closed.
