also, how did you make this? like whats your step by step process?
My process:
-> First i think what i wanna do, so i can sketch before in paper or computer, search for references , for this one i looked for nature, bee, honey references...
-> After i knowing what i wanna do and have some references i wil build a structure to work ( i would say this part is REALLY crucial for my process), i will drawing the forms and make sure to resolve all drawing/perspective problems in this step, personaly considere this step the "spine" of the process.
->Well, we have the drawing solved so now i start put some "local colors"( colors as if seen isolated in a white light source)
->Now i will create a light source, focusing in create a big division of "Light" x "Dark" area ( i this momment only 2 values), i will respect this division in all nex steps, so i try make it with patience and more acurate i can do
-> Here i create the "mood", basicaly i will add temperature to my colors, thinking like "Warm" x "Cool"
-> Finally the really fun step XD: Rendering heheh, now i will make sure every material look what they are, like : metal, wood, fur, honey... But if you asks how to do that? i basicaly use dithering techiques, contrast, putting more or less values differences..
-> And for last i will do some little adjusts if nescessary
i hope this can help :> If u have any questions, feel free to ask :>
