I think you did a good job with the foam!
Maybe I'd use a lower saturation, closer to white rather than yellow, but it honestly looks good as is IMO

First, great use of form and color. This piece is awesome. To improve I think you need to match the fidelity of the foam with the mug, or vice versa. While both aspects work well on their own, they are stylistically different and "clash". You could add another step of color for highlights into the foam, and add some outlining as well since you mug is outlined. Easier said than done. Again though, this is a great piece and it's clear you have a great control of color and form. Like those contour shapes in the foam are so cool!
