Illustration created for the GB Pixel Art Jam 2024.

The given theme was 4 differents color palettes to choose from, no directions given on what to do with it. I really liked the 4th palette and I immediatly thought of Kirby at the sea! The picture follows all the restrictions of the GameBoy, like color count, resolution and 8x8 tiles count.

I picture this image as the title screen for an imaginary Kirby game centered around exploring an island paradise! Catchy music, bright and colorful environments, and all those things that define Kirby games!
