Ardos @ardos I make pixelart and games! Check out Knick Knack Stack on Steam! :)

When I saw the theme for today's daily, I got really excited! I love drawing characters, and I really like Lucy's design from Cyberpunk Edgerunner, so I decided to draw a fan art!

I started with a sketch on paper and then redrew on top of it in Aseprite. Overall I'm really happy with the results! The only thing I could have done better is the flow of the legs. Her left leg would be much better if it was following the same arch as the other one instead of breaking the rythm. I'll try to be more careful about things like that in my future drawings!

Feel free to give your opinions, critiques or appreciations in the comments, I love reading and responding to them

This is super cool! I love the posing, the clothing folds, and the hair - especially considering how tricky it can be to depict bands and ribbons in pixel art. As for critiques, I'd say that her right arm (the one to our left) bends a little strangely towards her wrist, near the cuff of her jacket. It feels like there's a hidden fourth arm joint located in between her wrist and the middle of her forearm, which obviously isn't the case but since there's a slight bend there, it feels that way. Other than that, I think you did a great job on the anatomy!

Thank you for the critique! I can see that 4th joint, it looks a little weird indeed haha

I'm glad you like the artwork!

Thanks a lot!

I've tried multiple ways of outlining the character and this one stood out the most. It's like chromatic aberration but without blurring the shape of the pose!
