This is done by hand? No conversion from another piece of art? I'm not doubting, I'm just in awe at the color gradiations. I have to keep my work low resolution to be able to successfully shade so this is really amazing. Great work!

Yep! This is done by hand indeed. Small inspiration came from George Washington paintings regarding the coloring of the skin though :D. Glad You like it!
