BurakoIRL @blkirl Pixelating scifi, eerie, creepy, anime chics and other stuff since 2012 :9 [Also called: BLk / prev. BlackedIRL] Full view of the palette banner showcase. Using isometric projection, just to keep things interesting. I didn't know what to do for the decorations, so it was all improvised. I included a reference to SpongeBob SquarePants from the episode where he reaches the abyss, and another small Dead Space mockup. And some Vaporwave things... Download the palette here :9

That's awesome! Any advice on architectural design? I'm planning an artwork of a skyline soon, but I'm still experimenting. The building in the center is absolutely beautiful.

Thx :D
My recommendation in architecture is to take examples from the brutalist style of construction. While it's true that it's very gray, there are many shapes and designs, but you can adapt it to your own style. The basic shapes are cubes. If you find it difficult to create an unconventional shape, you can first create the shape in normal (front) view and then select strips of 2 pixels by the height of the shape. Then, drag the selection up (or down, depending on the rotation of your building) so that that side of the building starts to appear in isometric view. You can then use that as a basis for the rest!

Furthermore, depending on the size, some things may be too small to be seen; there's no need to force the details, a few simple pixels or colors simulating the shape are enough (like the air conditioning motors on one side of the building in the example).
