Few greens, many greens

September 17th 2026 Pixel Art Hand Pixelled

Clark @clarky 20yo | he | esp/eng | Arg | OSC | Artist and pixel artist. 3D modeling sometimes. So here I confronted my enemy: the color green. Don't hate it, but it'd be great if its shades weren't so similar. It makes me struggle with picking good colors a lot. Anyways, made this as a color picking practice so I can make the ultimate good looking color palette that I will actually enjoy and work easily with. My complaint here is that when I need to draw a scene with multiple shades of the same color, small color palettes end up making the different pieces of my art to blend, fuse and stick to each other, making it difficult to differentiate between them. If I turn into a color bender then maybe I'll be able to solve this problem. 🤔
