Cronos @diego-fung I don't usually tackle fantasy themes, as I don't fully identify with many elements of that literary genre. However, a few weeks ago I decided to make an exception. After listening to Aurora and Grimes, I thought: why not design a fairy? That's how this design was born.

The main idea was to create a fairy, but a dilemma arose: where to place her? What would the setting be? Finally, I came up with the idea of illustrating a blurred background, as if it were a photograph, while also ensuring the style had a watercolor feel. It was a challenge, but it was achieved.

I consider the ethereal to be something magical, mystical; and when captured well, the result can be very powerful, as the message is clearly conveyed. This design went through many changes (not to mention Metamorphosis), from the initial line art to the background color, which was modified more than five times.

My intention was for the illustration to convey a magical, fanciful, and, in a way, spiritual aura. I wanted this design to serve as a kind of visual catharsis, a way to bring to life an idea that had been brewing in my head for weeks.

I hope you enjoy this pixel art.

This feels like an illustration straight out of an old fairytale book, I love it! The flowery ornamentations are a very nice touch, too
