I'm a programmer that started their journey in pixel art on the 1st January 2026.

Made for the daily #mystery with the daily palette "Smoke: It's ok to feel". Draupnir is Odins ring, which creates every 9th night 8 duplicates of itself. It was forged by 2 dwarfs that used "Mjöllnir" (Thors hammer) to win a bet against Loki. I associate with it mysterious things since the ring, in an poem of the younger Edda, travelled to Hel (The land of the dead) as a gift to Baldur, Odins dead son, and back to Asgard, where Odin resides. That makes the ring one of the few items that crossed the border of life and death. Due to that connection with Odin, i also portrayed Odins ravens Huginn and Muninn (The "Thought" and the "Memory"). The chest, which is supposed to contain the ring, is more a personal association with mystery. Runes are seen in norse mythology as magical symbols, which is why i depicted one on the chest.
