Did you draw inspiration from the TMS9918 palette (MSX, ColecoVision, and SG-1000)? Because to me, the colors and even the color attributes look similar.

I did not, as I didn't make the palette myself. I totally see what youre mentioning tho! Toby_Yasha did the palette and they have a ton of good ones.
