This pixel art piece was designed for the Funabashi design contest, inspired by local folklore, coastal mystery, and the concept of a silent guardian watching over the water.

The piece tells the tale of a mythical white serpent acting as a protector of the sea routes. Instead of something menacing, I wanted to capture a quiet, comforting presence—a guardian spirit cutting through the dark, nocturnal waves to light the way for travelers and ships navigating the coastal waters.
