I've realized as of late that my art is incredibly dependant on reference images, to the point where I feel like I cannot draw unless I have one open in another tab, so to counter my overreliance on them, I decided I would only let myself look at reference for one minute per drawing. This worked out pretty nicely because it forced me to focus on the big picture and not get bogged down in all the details. Eventually, I was able to draw the sheep at the top left completely from imagination, which felt great!! Highly recommend giving this exercise a shot if you can, it finally got me out of my month-long art block.
