i think there is a lot of unintentional sharpness in this piece. for example, those fish look really blocky. you could take a few pixels off them to round them out, or look into a tecnique known as anti-aliasing. hope this helped ;)

That looks incredible for being your first attempt at pixel art! I'd recommend trying to look out for jaggies and stray pixels, but other than that, very nice piece.
