yeah this is a fun concept + i love the characters. what i would love more is some emotion on the chars, like squiggles over heads to show anger or sweat drops to show stress. this scene feels comedic to me and silly emotion descriptions like that would make me chuckle

I love the characters!
I think this would be hugely helped by some kind of environment though. Looks like this might take place in some kind of warehouse or something,  or perhaps the back exit of one (just a thought!)
