Albidum @s-albidum This is an attempt to show what a person might have seen if they were standing facing east somewhere near current day Ciudad Valles, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, at the K-Pg boundary around 66 m.y.a. Depicted is a carbonaceous chondrite (a type of meteorite) approximately 10km in diameter that struck Earth just off the coast of the current day Yucatan peninsula. The aftermath both in immediate destruction and alteration of the climate would be the end of many species, especially the non-avian dinosaurs and their relatives like the pterosaurs. Animals I attempted to depict are Agujacertops Mariscalensis and Quetzalcoatlus Northropi. I used #lostcenturypalette as a color guide. Done in MS Paint
