Big fan of extra limbs/eyes in general but esp love the metal fence looking wings he has.

He hunts corruption and evil.
Had just watched documentary/biography of Hellboy then the first Hellboy movie fitting inspiration :>

Always like the "Monster looking character fights worse actual monsters all out" trope

Also always like drawing trees, especially so in pixelart. Abstracting textures is fun and making stark textures like bark and fluff jump out as different is fun using the same colors.

This color palette is mostly SLSO8 but with a green added in and IIRC somewhat harsher bright tones
Added a blurry mixel spot in the bottom right as a flashlight whips up seconds before disaster/expeditive justice. Was on the fence on whether to keep it or not but think I like the story it adds and it really didnt work without the cheaty blur and I like the mixels to show intentionality of the palette break.

Really happy with the trick I reused on the tree dither though
Basically have a pattern mask and copy the whole tree but one hue darker on top. Helps the character pops out and add interesting meta texture
