I made original piece in 2014 at the very beginning of my pixel art journey 9 years ago, so I decided to remake it. It imagines a 16 bit cinematic platformer (one of my favorite game genres) based on Shadow Over Innsmouth. Also I'm tagging it as 'enhanced' pixel art since I used a photo reference for the background and pixelled over that - almost every pixel is placed manually at this point but my goal isn't to deceive people. Everything in the foreground is 100% hand pixelled though.
