incredible charcter design. i love those smallest details of shadow and snow white wrinkles that are the same color as the hair. great job!

thank you so much!

for the character design you really have to thank the person who this piece is for, but i did give it my own lil touch so the compliments are appreciated!! ^_^

Wow, looks awesome!

I'm always impressed by people drawing in text mode. I've never tried it but it looks really hard to make pictures out of text haha

there is aa "ancient" textmode method where you do normal pixel art and then replace pixels with symbols etc. its really fun to do this was because you can add more depth and multiple layers that can make unique shapes that barelly resembles text at that point
jay
thank you so much!

i will be honest, given that this is miscii with modular shapes it's more like... making pictures out of shapes (which, since i have a more traditional art upbringing, is a bit easier for me ^_^) + with lvllvl i can do a bunch of cool layering and really just go with the flow

and if it interests you i would suggest you take a shot at it! for me, my first inspiration to try doing textmode was someone on this very site... i didnt even know it was a thing prior to that! :]

I need to take a look at that lvllvl website, I've heard about it many times and I feel I have to try it out at some point!

Thank you both for sharing your approach to text mode art :)
