STARWORKS @starworks indie developer; currently no released titles. i make pixel art :) "Some say that the Lost Arts were created to provide power to the people of the world, but they were quickly fragmented and hidden by those higher than us after a bad actor decided to pursue them for less-than-noble deeds that threatened the very sanctity of the gods themselves. To this day, they remain untouched by human hands, and even if all of the pieces of a Lost Art were to be recovered, they each require a special, unique 'key' of sorts known as a Catalyst to be reformed.

Each lost art correlates to a different thing: Beginnings and Endtimes - often nicknamed 'The Twins of Certainty' - control the cycle of creation and destruction, be it on a relatively smaller scale such as with life, or even one as grand as the universe itself. Eternity shapes time, something we all normally see as a linear scope, when in reality it's an ever-changing web where every single decision made by every single being causes a whole alternative reality. Energy deals with the elements, and how life flows through each and every one of us. The Soulborne's purpose is debated upon, but many believe it's related to our very consciousness - our psyche, if you will. And finally...Unity. Unity is the power to control reality as we know it. Unity is, literally and figuratively, the most powerful thing in existence. Without Unity, everything else is meaningless, and we might as well be apes pointlessly banging rocks together for the rest of our lives."
