Zaebucca @zaebucca He/Him Pixel & Environment Artist from Italy Ecruteak City: night time version. A few more colors were used from the daytime version and I relied on dithering, with orange tones, to give the idea of dim-lighted lamps all around the city.

Amazing🩷. Threw me off just a teeny bit that Lugia was the only pokemon without any pop. I get it was probly so it's clear that it's more in the distance, but every other 'mon pops so hard, like that one book or brick in old cartoons you KNEW was going to be moved or interacted with, because it meshed with the static bg art... I hope I articulated that well 😣

Thank you Mx! Yeah, Lugia was meanth as flying in the distance, like the old trading card game art with the moon! Also, the daytime version has Ho-oh as a counterpart, which quotes the first episode in the animated series. :'P
Every other pokemon is instead considered like a sprite / overworld / interactive character, so they pop quite a lot, like in an actual videogame!
