Heres an idea, just looked at some rejected palettes and thought what if Blood Demon was more usable (inspired by others who did similar things of reviving these palettes) so here's my take, Blood Demon Remix.

Palette I made for my piece. It has a main warm and very saturated red ramp, useful for "realistic" blood, and a cold, greenish ramp to make slime and other filthy stuff, plus some usable browns and greys etc.

The palette is based on a tetradic scheme (or more likely double complementary). Strong, deep blues are opposed by weak browns and strong bloody reds are opposed by weak turquoises (obviously).
