For now I'm going to declare this my "official general 8-color palette" but at some point I may be able to improve it.  Either way, this palette is intended as a general master palette for any kind pixel art.

A palette where each ramp is seperate and defined with no need for mixing ramps.

So here I've tried to reduce the redundancy in the 3-bit RGB palette by making each of the color channels have approximately the same effect on a colors luminance, instead of having green being disproportionately bright and blue disproportionately dark.

I tried to make a 4-color palette that strayed from the common monoramp format as much as possible, to try to have as much functionality as say, DB8, which may be a bit overly ambitious for 4 colors.  Still, I tried to make the best use of them by scattering them out across the color space while also keeping them as balanced as I could.  Hopefully people find this palette useful for overcoming the 4-color limitations!

1 red bit, 2 green bits, 1 blue bit.  Similar in concept to the Uzebox palette, which also uses bit combinations for the RGB color channels, in that case adding up to 8 bits in total, rather than 4.

My first attempt at a gameboy palette, with intense hue shifting through the cool color range

So this is me basically trying out the same kind of hue-shifted palettes everyone else on lospec has been making, this one another 16-color palette of mine.

So as with my first 16-color palette, my first 8-color palette anded up being a bit too saturated for my liking.  So, (as sort of a sequel to washed-over16, I guess), here's Washed-Over8.  Also, thanks to Isa for the input on adjusting the colors!
