The Lospec Palette List is a database of palettes for pixel art. We include both palettes that originate from old hardware that could only display a few colors, as well as palettes created by pixel artists specifically for making art.

This is a small 11 color pallette made based on a simplisstic light/shadow pattern using the purple to yellow spectrum. The yellow tones act more as a kind of highlight color, while the majority of the pallette is based upon the purple hues. I also found this really helpful for getting into pixel art again, since it makes the basic sunlight to shadow ratio really easy to replicate.
