The Lospec Palette List is a database of palettes for pixel art. We include both palettes that originate from old hardware that could only display a few colors, as well as palettes created by pixel artists specifically for making art.

Vixien Base-32 is a palette I designed as my personal all-purpose starting point for new pixel art projects. My goal was to create something flexible and cozy set of colors that feels pleasant to work with. This palette isn’t meant to be strict or limiting. Instead, it’s a foundation that can be easily built on as project grows.
