The Lospec Palette List is a database of palettes for pixel art. We include both palettes that originate from old hardware that could only display a few colors, as well as palettes created by pixel artists specifically for making art.

Arkade26
New

Created by NIPH

My own twist on GrafxKid's Arcade Standard 29 Palette. Sadly his website seems to be down for a while, but he had those very nice examples of how to use his pallete. I've used it a lot in my current game (NIPH), and ended up changing quite a few colors (removing 3, the lighter purple got fused with the pink, and a few others...), making them all more saturated (the red specially was really lighter on the original one, but I wanted a more in your face, bright red).

Designed as a soft pastel take on the standard supergameboy palette, expanded into a set of connected ramps of four shades, all sharing the same shadow and the same highlight.

Blessing

Created by clarigariccus

noun. God's favor and protection. This palette is composed by only highlights and no shadow colors, because in heaven there is no place for darkness. After overcoming the trial of using it, you'll be rewarded (hopefully) with the feeling that you became a more enlightened being. Palette created by Maruki.
