The Lospec Palette List is a database of palettes for pixel art. We include both palettes that originate from old hardware that could only display a few colors, as well as palettes created by pixel artists specifically for making art.

TriSys-27
New

Created by Professor Ape

A basic 4-trit RGBI palette for a fictional ternary computer called the Trisys-27. The palette is designed to fit in 4 trits, with 1 trit each for red, green, blue, and intensity (the intensity value is just a modifier for the other 3 values). The formula to convert from ternary RGBI values to binary RGB values is: round((<rgb channel> * 3 + i) * 31.875). For example, the middle orange value has a ternary value of 2101, which means r = round(( 2 * 3 + 1 ) * 31.875 ) = 223, g = round(( 1 * 3 + 1 ) * 31.875) = 128, and b = round(( 0 * 3 + 1) * 31.875) = 32.
