The Lospec Palette List is a database of palettes for pixel art. We include both palettes that originate from old hardware that could only display a few colors, as well as palettes created by pixel artists specifically for making art.

This is based on Hellenistic(?) style of pottery. Normally, there is a white added, but I wanted this to be a 1 bit look so there are just two colors. I will be making one with 3 colors.I wanted something to simulate the red-figured and blackfigured pottery.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red-figure_potteryhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black-figure_pottery

It likely would've been better to have the painting at a different size to show dithering, but it is an example of my palette with a sleeping woman. The style is based off of Indian art. - by min

Moth 27

Created by patchesdog

A warm palette perfect for pixel painting. I made it from a photo I took of a moth floating in my cup of water. *note that ffbf1a and fd8900 are only meant to be used together in the same ramp and pretty sparingly as small accents. (due to their high saturation)

Jugdral21

Created by Space-AgeWrangler

Made this for a set of Fire Emblem based drawings. Works as a more complete/cohesive version of the colors in my Salamanca post.

Medieval theme with a focus on midtones, mostly greens through browns. Highlights are muted, dark tones are saturated for colorful shadows. Purple does not exist.
