The Lospec Palette List is a database of palettes for pixel art. We include both palettes that originate from old hardware that could only display a few colors, as well as palettes created by pixel artists specifically for making art. All palettes can be downloaded and imported into your pixelling software of choice (learn how). You can also try a our palette of the day or a random palette.

16-Metallic is a palette composed of 16 vibrant colours. Despite having 16 colours the palette is fairly restricitve focusing mainly on blue, brass and golds with pink and green undertones, inviting whoever uses it to be creative with their colours.

Challenge 9

I recently did the 9x9x9x9 challenge created by the Lospec creator Sam Keddy. In this challenge you use 9 colours, 9 tiles and a 9x9 tile grid. It is also optional to use 9x9 tiles (which I did).
