The Lospec Palette List is a database of palettes for pixel art.
We include both palettes that originate from old hardware that could only display a few colors, as well as palettes created by pixel artists specifically for making art.
A highly contrasted 8-color palette crafted specifically for synthwave, cyberpunk, and vaporwave aesthetics. It features a deep, cool-toned monochromatic ramp (from near-black purple to muted lilac) perfect for building dark sci-fi environments, cityscapes, and UI backgrounds. This dark base is sharply contrasted by piercing neon magenta, vibrant cyan, and a toxic yellow-green to make action elements, glowing screens, and magic effects pop instantly. Capped off with a soft pastel pink for retro-dreamy transitions. Ideal for top-down arcades, fast-paced action games, and moody tech art.
