The Lospec Palette List is a database of palettes for pixel art. We include both palettes that originate from old hardware that could only display a few colors, as well as palettes created by pixel artists specifically for making art. All palettes can be downloaded and imported into your pixelling software of choice (learn how). LOG DOG

A palette originally intended for a sixteen-color image drawn by me, but it can be used in a variety of ways, due to it supporting large ramps that can approximate a wide range of colors, despite its lack of green. It is very good at smoothing out banding, if detail is added.

Log Dog II

A less-specialized version of my own palette "Log Dog" with a larger range of colors. Some colors have been altered (RIP gray.) to allow most pixel art to be faithfully recreated with only sixteen colors, including nearly anything made with the original "Log Dog". The colors have also been arranged from lightest to darkest in the palette example.
