The Lospec Palette List is a database of palettes for pixel art. We include both palettes that originate from old hardware that could only display a few colors, as well as palettes created by pixel artists specifically for making art. All palettes can be downloaded and imported into your pixelling software of choice (learn how). You can also try a our palette of the day or a random palette, or a palette from our Rejected Palettes list.

T-Lollipop

Created by Anubi

A palette inspired by the gameboy and a certain flag (which you can see in the 2nd example, thanks a lot Beta Lyn!), T-Lollipop has 4 colors that give it a dreamlike, and/or night-time feeling. equipped with a very strong hue-shifting, which can even make this palette have two color ramps instead of one, anything can be possible.

Intacto14

Created by Anubi

The palette I'm using nowadays for my pixel arts, 14 colors distributed along 5 color ramps (Gray, Green, Blue, Red, Brown), aiming to be flexible in many circunstances, while still not having way too many colors. The most common colors were picked for this palette, which should cover most of your ideas.

An example showing how this palette can be used. There's also the color ramps at the left side, which shows how some of these ramps (such as Green and Blue, or Red and Brown) connect with each other. - by Anubi

Nostalgic-Memories

Created by Anubi

a spin-off of Nostalgic-Dreams (another palette of mine) with more shades and new values across all 12 different colors, equipped with Blue/Gray, Red/Yellow and Green shades, reminiscent of some great memories of the past. Not really a sequel to Nostalgic-Dreams, but more so as its own thing. Featured in the 12th of May of 2023 as a limitation for a Pixel Dailies theme (Bun).

nice69

Created by marCOmics

"69 shades of more than gray."  This sexy palette consists of handpicked, recherché colors, whose hues were tested and ripened in the sultry heat of anticipation of over 420 dank days. The fervently beaming tints snuggle each other on tight colorramps, forming an interlocking set of multifarious colors. It's predominantly focussed on light, vibrant lightwaves that penetrate your lusting eyes, arousing your ticklish and sensitive photoreceptors.  Still, the palette is rich in seducing nuances and zealously optimized for versatile use - especially in passion projects that *highly saturate* one's thirst for pixelated pleasures. Each color was deliberately named to get (at least) your creative juices flowing.  Today, nerdettes and gentlenerds, I present to you: The caressingly crafted, the climactic opus magnum of my oeuvre: The nice69™!!

Nostalgi14

Created by Anubi

(Probably) my final take on the Nostalgi palette series. 14 desaturated colors placed in 5 (6, if you count a different color a new) different ramps (gray, green/blue, red, brown, purple), with many of these colors being shared between ramps (most noticeably the dark purple/brown, which is shared between all ramps except gray!). Due to this, the connections of colors between ramps was improved in comparison with Nostalgi8, which should allow for smoother transitions between colors. An all-in-one palette for desaturated colors.
