The Lospec Palette List is a database of palettes for pixel art. We include both palettes that originate from old hardware that could only display a few colors, as well as palettes created by pixel artists specifically for making art. All palettes can be downloaded and imported into your pixelling software of choice (learn how). You can also try a our palette of the day or a random palette, or a palette from our Rejected Palettes list.

Iridescent Crystal

A 48-color multipurpose palette based on the spectrum of colors found in opals and iridescent crystals. Lots of nice pastels,  with tints and shades so it's easy to build depth in objects. All of the colors are more cool-toned overall to maintain a cohesive feel throughout. Really good for fantasy environments.

named after a root beer flavoured candy that soothes the throat.  developed as two separate 2-bit palettes, "root beer float" and "tiger tail".a little difficult to get the hang of, but nevertheless rewarding!
