All of the colours you can make Book and Quill text be in Minecraft Java, plus a colour picked from the page of the book itself to act as a background colour. Colour codes for the text were found on the minecraft wiki.

Hexachrome

Hexachrome is a printing technique that uses 6 colours instead of 4 in order to produce a wider range of colours. the initial 6 colours are the "Full Primary", the 7th colour is Substrate/Paper White and the final 3 colours are CMY secondary colours. Retro Comic

Made by creating monoramps in cmyk (3 lighter shades, 3 darker shades), then using layers of dithering to create the mixed colours. This palette is made to pick colours from and would not be used all at once. Where I found the reference: https://kleinletters.com/Blog/coloring-comics-old-school/
