The Lospec Palette List is a database of palettes for pixel art. We include both palettes that originate from old hardware that could only display a few colors, as well as palettes created by pixel artists specifically for making art.

This was one of the palettes inspired by Pens. Surprised no one made this pun of a palette yet (none I found), was just a blue palette but I saw 9 colors and the white looked like clouds and called it the name it has now.

This palette was painstakingly designed with hand picked colors intended to recreate the chromatic aberration and other visual effects of a CRT monitor. 32 Colors, 12 Ramps which can each be used individually for monochromatic pieces or together for subtle variations and extra depth. Eight base colors with a sepia tone each have three additional variations in hue leaning to red, green, and blue, which gives the impression of the eight base colors being more neutral (although in reality they're each quite warm).
This example showcases some possible uses of the palette including the intended use of utilizing all colors to mimic the effects of a CRT monitor as shown in the first example as well as how it may look to use the Ramps as individual monochrome palettes as shown in the second example. - by Digi

An 8 ramp of muted warm browns, with enough colorful accents to form a very mellow rainbow. My entry for No Risc No Reward

This palette was based on my first ever palette (not uploaded), where I just did whatever felt right and actually made a 24 color palette. This is a version that started out at 10, the reddish ramp, the orange yellow green, dark green, cyan but I added the other colors and got an even 16. All the colors can work with each other in many ways in different ramps.

The rejected palette "Reddy" (https://lospec.com/palette-list/reddy-rejected-bUAm) by Abbas looks like a roaring bonfire, beautiful, loud, and blisteringly intense. I hoped to make a version that was a little easier to use, a little less overwhelming, more like a small campfire, perfect for roasting marshmallows and making s'mores. In making "Reddy for Marshmallows," I tried to keep the artistry of the original palette, making sure to include the pink, purple and brown that give it its depth, instead of just the bright reds and oranges that make up most of the palette.
Sprites for a nonexistent cozy marshmallow-toasting simulator that I thought up on the spot. Includes winning and losing screens ("perfect toast!" and "oh no!"), a campfire crafting menu, a health bar made of marshmallows, and a nighttime forest overworld design with a campfire in the middle. - by StellarBee

Generated with OKLCH color wheel. The hue differs by Golden Angle 137.5 degree, and the lightness is from 0.3 to 0.9. Has interesting properties that each color has several lightness gradient. Each gradient inherently has a hue shift.
